The New Cow

In early 2018, Randy decided to relax after his 33+ years at the helm of Bountiful Cow and sold the company to Steve Wright. Steve has been in the food service industry for close to 40 years, starting as a dishwasher in a restaurant and eventually progressing to various positions, including restaurant management, food service distribution sales, food service brokerage sales, and ultimately Director of Sales for a food service manufacturing corporation selling to large national account chains across the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. Steve decided to settle in the Santa Fe area in October of 2015 for the climate and lifestyle and the outdoor activities such as fly-fishing and golf.

Steve heard about Randy’s desire to exit his company and spent very little time with the decision to move forward with the purchase, realizing the stellar reputation and service levels in place with Bountiful Cow as well as the upside potential moving into the future.

Steve is ready to take Bountiful Cow to the next level and has the passion and desire to continue bringing the best specialty food products to the wholesale market of northern New Mexico and beyond.
